We are very excited to celebrate Language Week at BFCCPS the week of April 11-14! During this week we will be sharing French and Latin languages and culture with different activities each day.

Each day there will be a Foreign Language Question of the Day, there will be a different question for grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. They can put their answers on a piece of paper and all answers should be collected and placed in the labeled bins in the office by 2:00. Winners will be announced at the end of the day at dismissal.

Students in Grades 7 & 8 will visit lower grade classes throughout the week. They will either go outside or split between the two classrooms reading picture books in French and playing French games together.

Throughout the week, teachers may bring students to view Latin Derivative posters and French country and culture posters displayed in the upstairs hall.

We are incredibly excited to celebrate World Language Week and highlight this important aspect of the curriculum at BFCCPS.
