One of the amazing benefits of NASA’s Exploration Rovers visiting Mars are the high-resolution photos the program beamed back to Earth. Thanks to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, 3D photos are available for all to see! During science block in Mrs. Kathleen Bien’s fifth grade class, students built their own 3D glasses and using the Google Chromebooks were able to look at rock formations, surface characteristics and many other camera angles that Rovers were able to capture while on the surface of Mars.
