The fifth grade students in Mrs. Bien and Mrs. Bartch’s classroom performed their community service at the Franklin and Bellingham Rail Trail, a multi-use, universally accessible recreational path. Students planted flowers donated by Mrs. Bartsch’s mother’s garden club and were give a tour of the trail by former BFCCPS parent and current chair of the Franklin and Bellingham Rail Trial Committee, Marc Kaplan, along with Ron Clough, Park Supervisor from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.
