This past weekend, volunteers were needed to clean up and spread new mulch at the Franklin Dog Park. BFCCPS was represented by three 5th grade students.

Did you know that the Franklin Dog Park was created by BFCCPS Alumna Haley Goulet as part of a Capstone project back in 2011?  If you haven’t heard about our Capstone Project, we hope that you’ll read more about it here on our website.

All students in Grades Kindergarten through Grade 8 participate in at least three Community Service projects each year. It is our hope that continued service opportunities will create good service habits for life.

These Fifth Grade young ladies worked hard and also had fun interacting with all the four legged friends there. We are so very proud of them of their effort!

These young ladies certainly exemplify our hopes for continued Community Service.  Many thanks ladies and keep up the good work!
