Sarah DiSalvo
Welcome
Hello! My name is Sarah DiSalvo and this is my first year teaching at BFCCPS! I grew up locally in Holliston and my husband and I just bought a house in Franklin! I received my master’s in early childhood education from Lesley University in 2017. I am so excited to be joining the BFCCPS team and to get to know each of you and have a fantastic year in first grade!
My philosophy of education is centered on creating a warm and caring classroom community with high expectations. I believe all children are naturally curious, creative, and capable learners. Through a strong classroom community and intentional home-school partnerships, students should feel safe, and therefore secure in taking risks in their learning.
When I’m not teaching, I love to go hiking with my husband or spend time with my two cats. I also love drawing, reading, playing board games, and spending time with my family. I am so excited to start the year and cannot wait to meet all my first graders and their families!
