Dear Families,

We had a wonderful week in Room 7!  We learned about voting on Tuesday by reading "One Vote, Two Votes, I Vote, You Vote" and  then we "voted" on our class president; we heard three puppet candidates speeches on how they would be as our class president, we then voted, and the winner was Suzy!

In Math we practiced writing the number 9 and practiced identifying shapes.

In Wonders we  answered essential question "What shapes do you see around you?"  We practiced the sound the letter Tt makes and added sight word "like" to our word wall.  We continue to discuss the difference between informational texts and fantasy stories and make connections between the different stories we read.

We read the story "How to Catch a Turkey" and imagined what it would be like to have our own pet turkeys.

Please let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or comments at anytime!
