Third Grade Teacher

Welcome to 3U!

After having taught 5th grade for two years, I am going into my 15th year teaching 3rd grade at BFCCPS. Teaching is my passion, I love coming to work every day!!

I changed careers when my children started school. After substituting for a couple of months, I knew teaching was for me! I went back to school got my masters in education and the rest is history. I am married to a wonderful husband...who does the whole-school picture each year. I have two daughters who are now out of college! One lives in Asheville and one still at home.

I have many favorites...purple & green, teaching science, playing games, pillows, and Daily 5's.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking at Blue Hills, biking on Cape Cod, camping in Maine, reading in my backyard, cooking, skiing and going to the movies.
