Our Specials Schedule 2019-2020:

Monday: Library 2:10-3:00
Tuesday: Music 12:30-1:20
Wednesday:  French 10:50- 11:40 and PE 2:10-3:00
Thursday: Art 12:30-1:20
Friday: PE 10:50-11:40

  • Student of the week:  We will begin student of the week on September 16th! Click HERE to view the list and the guidelines for 2019-2020. Information will also be sent home on Friday before your child's week.
  • Mystery Reader:  Parents can sign up to be a mystery reader in our class on Thursday afternoons from October through May. The students love when parents visit with a book!  Sign up HERE!
  • Spelling words will be posted here and spelling tests will be given on Fridays. Your child will bring home the spelling words as well. 
  • Homework:  Homework will be weekly assignments. Details will be sent home during the first few weeks of school. Use the links for nightly math fact and spelling practice.

  • Scholastic Book Club Orders: The Book Club flyers will be sent home in the middle of each month and orders can be placed online until the last Friday of the month. This is the format for the entire year. Click here to order from Scholastic Book Clubs. The link will take you directly to our class ordering page.
  • Assemblies: The second graders present in academic assemblies throughout the year.  Please check back for the dates for the 2019-2020 school year.
  • Birthdays are celebrated throughout the year. According to our school policy, edible birthday treats are not permitted. If they wish, students may choose to send in a non edible item to share with 23 students.
