Specials Schedule 2018-2019:

Monday: French 1:20-2:10 and Library 2:10-3:00
Tuesday: PE 2:10-3:00
Wednesday:  Art 2:10-3:00
Thursday: Music 12:30-1:20
Friday: PE 2:10-3:00

  • Student of the week:  We will begin student of the week on September 24th! Click HERE to view the list and the guidelines for 2018-2019.
  • Mystery Reader:  Parents can sign up to be a mystery reader in our class on Thursday afternoons from October through May. The students love when parents visit with a book!  Sign up HERE!
  • Spelling words will be posted here and spelling tests will be given on Fridays. Your child will bring home the spelling words as well.
  • Homework:  Homework is assigned nightly and should be returned to school the following day. Monthly reading logs are sent home at the beginning of each month and can be returned at the end of the month. Click for current week's homework.
  • Scholastic Book Club Orders: The Book Club flyers will be sent home in the middle of each month and orders can be placed online until the last Friday of the month. This is the format for the entire year. Click here to order from Scholastic Book Clubs. The link will take you directly to our class ordering page.
  • Assemblies: The second graders perform in two assemblies this year.  Mark your calendars for our assemblies on October 26 and February 1.
  • Birthdays are celebrated throughout the year. According to our school policy, edible birthday treats are not permitted. If they wish, students may choose to send in a non edible item to share with 26 students.
