Welcome

I just completed my first year at BFCCPS, and I am honored to be part of such a vibrant and inclusive community. In my nearly 20 years of experience in education, I have taught every grade from kindergarten through high school, working in both public and private schools in Washington, DC, California, Massachusetts, and Oregon.

I have always been a firm believer in John Dewey’s idea of collateral learning, which underscores the importance of who we become as we are learning. BFCCPS’ mission gets to the heart of this ideal, building character both through our strong school culture and a learning environment that is safe, respectful, and positive. At BFCCPS, we not only strive to cultivate good students but good people and citizens as well.

I have learned quickly that BFCCPS is a unique and special place. I am extremely excited for the 2019-2020 school year and welcoming our new and returning students into our beautiful new home.
