Caitlin Troy
Welcome
I am very excited to continue at BFCCPS as a 4th grade classroom assistant. I have a BA in Spanish and political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University. I began my teaching career substituting in Mansfield in 2010. Since then I have worked in the Attleboro area, Plainville, and Medfield but am happy to have found a permanent place in the Franklin education community.
As the recess coordinator, student council advisor, and 6th grade advising teacher I have been able to get to know so many students throughout the years here. I look forward to meeting even more! I have a desk in Ms. Styles's room but feel free to email me if you can't find me.
Education isn't my only passion. I hold a second degree black belt in Krav Maga self defense and enjoy learning many other types of martial arts. I also enjoy reading and creative writing.
