Welcome

Hello, my name is Alison Zylstra and I will be starting my first year at BFCCPS this fall. I am so thrilled to be moving back home to Central Mass with my husband and two boys after traveling and teaching in Utah, Alaska, and Vermont. Teaching in rural communities has taught me so much about learning, and the power of education when it inspires students to uncover their own intrinsic motivation to learn, especially at the middle school level. When I am not at school, I enjoy hiking, camping, cooking, and running, usually while enjoying a book. I am so honored to be joining the BFCCPS community and partnering with parents in their child's educational journey.
