Our fifth through eighth grade students participate in the advising program. Grade level groups are comprised of 8-13 students, with each group assigned a faculty or staff member as their advisor. Students in the fifth grade meet twice a month, while our sixth through eighth graders meet weekly for academic advising, character education and community service activities.
Small groups afford students and faculty members the opportunity to work together on common academic and character goals. Students participate in team building activities, as well as activities that help them build their organizational skills and strengthen their understanding of the four virtues.
Our advising program is designed to deliver a strong character education and community service program to our students and provide them with guidance and a chance to work with different teachers on these important aspects of their education.
