Dear BFCCPS Families,

We wish you all a well deserved February Break with your families.

As a reminder, the Board of Trustees has implemented a new policy: Student Travel Under Mass Travel Order 45 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is important to recognize that in accordance with the Massachusetts Travel Order, and the BFCCPS Daily Attestation, any students, faculty or staff who are traveling outside of the U.S or to a state deemed high risk must quarantine for 14 days or produce a negative COVID-19 test result before returning to in-person education. If your child is travelling out of state, please use this form to notify the BFCCPS Central office and BFCCPS Health Office.

We will resume remote learning for all students on February 22nd and prepare for our shift to hybrid, in person learning on Monday, March 1st for students who have previously enrolled in hybrid in person learning. You can read the full details of that announcement from Mrs. Zolnowski here on our website.

Please note that in accordance with the direction we have received from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, students who are participating in public school sponsored virtual learning must be physically located within the Commonwealth while logged into school. Students who are observed to be logging into school from outside of Massachusetts will be marked absent. 10 consecutive absences would be considered an extended absence, and on the 11th day they would be unenrolled in accordance with our extended absence policy.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Be kind and safe Ben Franklin,

Joe Perna
