Four students recently represented BFCCPS during this year’s Regional Science Fair. We are thrilled to share the results with you today! All four of the students who participated in the event are now eligible to participate in the upcoming middle school Massachusetts State Science and Engineering Fair (MSSEF) which will be held on June 6th at the Worcester Technical High School in Worcester, MA. The students were recognized this afternoon during lunch and we hope you will extend hearty congratulations the next time you see them.
Shradda also received the U.S. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE SURGEON GENERAL’S AWARD – Certificate of Achievement for outstanding research in the field of health promotion, disease prevention, & health sciences.
Saketh and Franciso both qualified for the 2015 BROADCOM FOUNDATION (Math, Applied Science, Technology & Engineering for Rising Stars) Certificate of Recognition and invitation letter to complete an online application for the national competition.
Francisco C. also received:
- A plaque & $30 for an outstanding physics related project from the UMASS DARTMOUTH PHYSICS ALUMNI COUNCIL
- GENZYME CORPORATION – DISTINGUISHED ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
- $125 for an outstanding biotechnology or life science project
Saketh S. also received:
- JAMES WILLIAM PELLETIER AWARD – An outstanding project of the Fair in each Division
- Plaque and $150
